Governor Brewer joined leaders (Republic here) from the City of Chandler and Intel today to announce that Intel will be investing $3 Billion in it's Chandler facilities to update them. This will allow Intel to maintain their 5,000 employees at this site along with creating 1,500 construction jobs.
To maintain permanent jobs and create new ones is an amazing opportunity and this is great news for Chandler and the State of Arizona.
The Tribune agrees that this is a huge sign of confidence in the region.
